Since the establishment in 1898 of Denmark’s first cooperative grain association, which later became part of the modern DLG, our goal has been to create value to our owners.

That remains our mission today. In doing so, we fulfill our fundamental commitment to strengthening the competitiveness of our customers and owners and provide the best possible service and support. The collaboration and connection to our owners is our basis of existence. DLG has also helped drive progress.

The DLG Group plays an important role in delivering solutions for today and tomorrow both in securing future food production and in optimizing farmers’ operational efficiency.

While our roots remain in agriculture, our activities now span Agriculture, Animal Nutrition, Energy and Housing, enabling us to create impact far beyond our origins. Our heritage shapes us, and our ambition drives us forward.

Board of Representatives

Our owners also form the foundation of DLG Group’s highest authority, the Board of Representatives. which consists of 79 owner-elected representatives and 12 employee-elected representatives, who represent the company’s owners and employees and hold overall responsibility for the Group.

The owner-elected members are chosen at local election and financial meetings every two years.

The Board of Representatives is responsible for:

Reviewing and approving the Group strategy
Reviewing and adopting amendments to the Articles of Association
Approving the annual financial statements
Electing DLG’s Board of Directors
Participating in product strategy groups and providing input to the business management
