SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH COLLABORATION

Partnerships for our future

CREATING THE FUTURE

Driving sustainable value creation

We actively manage climate impacts and opportunities to secure long-term value

With emissions across our value chain, we are committed to reducing our footprint through our Creating the Future 2030 strategy and Science Based Targets. As climate change directly affects agriculture, we’re advancing low‑carbon solutions that reduce risk, strengthen our business, and support a sustainable future. Today, this spirit of unity is more important than ever. The challenges of climate change, food security, and sustainable energy demand solutions that no single company can deliver alone. By working hand in hand with our owners, partners, and stakeholders, we combine knowledge, innovation, and resources to create impact that lasts. Together, we are shaping a future where agriculture and sustainability go hand in hand. Because when we share responsibility, we share success. We are better together.

RESTORE NATURE

Cultivating biodivesity

Our farmer owners manage extensive agricultural land and actively work to protect and enhance biodiversity. By improving soil resilience and supporting natural ecosystems, they help create fertile, robust soils that benefit plants, insects, and beneficial fungi. We contributes by developing and commercialising cultivation concepts that strengthen the natural environment, increase biodiversity, and reduce the climate impact of cultivated land.

SCALING ACROSS

Regenerative Practices for a Resilient Food System

We see regenerative agriculture as a powerful approach to improving soil health and supporting biodiversity through conservation focused farming practices. In 2025, we expanded our partnership with Carlsberg to scale regenerative malting barley, introducing shared principles that set higher standards for tillage, crop rotation, field cover, fertilizer use, and pesticides. To deepen our knowledge, we launched the DLGreen project to collect robust data from ten pilot farms and began aligning our regenerative framework with the SAI Platform’s focus areas: soil health, water, biodiversity, and climate.

FINDING SOLUTIONS

Across continents for sustainable soy

Soy is a key protein source in European feed, yet its production has long been linked to deforestation, biodiversity loss, and climate challenges. At DLG Group, we take action to address these impacts. In 2025, we reached our goal of sourcing 100% verified soy in line with FEFAC’s Soy Sourcing Guidelines, ensuring responsible production and recognised standards. This milestone strengthens transparency in global supply chains and supports more sustainable farming practices in key producing regions. While progress has been made, greater transparency across the global soy sector remains essential.

SUCCESS FOR FARMERS

Breeding innovation

Sejet Plant Breeding is a leader in developing high-yield, quality agricultural crops. Since 1947, Sejet has utilized cutting-edge DNA technologies to create robust varieties that meet current and future growing conditions. Their success in breeding programs for crops like barley, wheat, and triticale, along with collaborations across Europe, underscores their commitment to sustainability and innovation. Today Sejet is owned by DLG Group and Novo Holding. Together, we are advancing sustainable agriculture for the benefit of farmers, the environment, and society.
