With MYCOSAFE, Vilofoss introduces a new range of toxin binders - developed and tested in Denmark and across Europe - to help reduce the risk of mycotoxin exposure in pigs, poultry, and ruminants.
“The mycotoxin profile varies from batch to batch of raw materials. With MYCOSAFE, customers get a solution that is easy to dose, and independent laboratory tests confirm it helps mitigate the impact of the most relevant toxins,” says Jacob Dall, Innovation Manager at Vilofoss.
MYCOSAFE is designed as a robust product that, when used daily, helps safeguard feed quality. In practice, this means easier handling for producers and better opportunities to maintain high productivity - even when raw material quality fluctuates. “That’s exactly the point,” continues Jacob Dall. “Farmers need confidence in stable production levels, even when mycotoxins occasionally appear in feed.”
As part of the launch, Vilofoss shares feedback from farms already using MYCOSAFE:
“It was a good combination for us to use MYCOSAFE during a period when we were feeding corn silage from last year’s harvest,” says Søren Madsen, Skjern. “The cows remained stable throughout this period.”
